I'll attempt to do that for each of our skaters after their performance, though no guarantees as security can sometimes be finicky from day-to-day here. Wonderful volunteers though at every venue thus far.
The music has gone a tiny bit military right now
Concentration coming through and he has a secret weapon "fast revolutions in the air"
He is skating with PASSION right now!!!
We just saw the Team Canada team and everyone is on their feet for Kevin!!
Who doesn't love those freckles too! #adorbs
Big embrace with his coach
As we wait for Reynolds' score to come in, massive cheers for the ageless local Plushenko.
Chants of "Russia" ring around the Palace.
Waiting for the scores...
And we are in 1st place!!! GREAT score of 167.92!!!
Very strong score. This pushes Canada 8 points ahead of the USA
Next up, we have Evgeny Plyushchenko
The cheers are so loud. (Well obvi, we're in Russia)
Plyushchenko is in all black. He means business
Whoa. I don't even know how to call that, but it was a triple triple something
Lets just say I gasped. It was pretty impressive
He just landed the triple triple toe
Small error as he mis-fired on the triple sauchow
Evgeny is jacked. He's skating with so much passion.
The little skaters who pick up teddy bears and flowers definitely have their hands full
They almost need a shovel
Evgeny just gave the double thumbs up to the crowd
Now we wait for his score
And the Russians are in 1st. Evgeny moves into first with a score of 168.20
Didn't notice before, but he has some bling on around his neck
Next up, we've got Tatsuki Machida from Japan
If anyone has seen Hunger Games, Machida's outfit sort of looks like the Tributes from 12 and their outfits on fire.
Machida just landed a great jump
Wow, small intense stare down at the judges table.
Machida is almost gaining momentum as the skate goes on
Ferocious look at the end
He's completed his skate. This might put Japan into 3rd place if Machida can score 10 points
