Our class is loving the Olympics and tremendously impressed with our Canadian athletes!! - Grade 3/4 students - C6 -
This grade 6 Media Literacy class from Karen Kain School of the Arts in Toronto has created some amazing Canadian Olympic Team mascot buddies for Komak.
Their mascots are based on Canadian Animals, and come with a profile explaining their
interests and favourite sport. Some animals were designed as a hybrid to enhance their athletic ability. Their work was based on the Vancouver Olympic Games storybook "Miga, Quatchi and Sumi".

Our school will be having an All Saints Olympics today in honour of all you athletes participating in Sochi. We have been watching you at school and at home and are in awe of your dedication, hard work, and determination! We decorated our door in honour of Patrick Chan as part of our Door Decorating festivities, and we will be cheering on our Men's Hockey team as they play in the semi-finals today! Go Canada Go!!!
