Justine Dufour-Lapointe definitely makes my list of best Olympic gold-medal celebration/reaction ever. She did the classy, Canadian move of congratulating her competitors, then you see her face when it kicked in that she just won Olympic gold. But, I still think Crosby's "Golden Goal" is still my #1 (check out this footage shot by Josh Binstock (London 2012 Canadian Summer Olympian in Beach Volleyball)The golden Goal

Justine Dufour-Lapointe has won Canada's first gold medal of Sochi 2014 and her sister Chloé took home our first silver. That brings our total medal count to three for Day 1 - Mark McMorris won bronze in snowboard slopestyle earlier in the day

Mayer from Austria is currently in the lead.
-
And yes @Mark it's icy and a racers track at the top, but it seems the bottom section is speeding up, the conditions are changing rapidly.

The skiers are just exhausted at the end of this track. Anything over 2 mins is a long course.
-
Bode Miller on the course!
-
Bode Miller has been blazing in training.
-
Now he's +0.51 back at the bottom section.
-
Miller finishes with a time of 2:06:75 and sits in sixth place. Mayer still in first
-
And Bode doesn't do it. 6th place now.
-
Can't wait for Guay's run! #Sochi2014by #TeamCanada via twitter 2/9/2014 7:49:38 AM
